We get it. Visiting a new church is a big step. Let us take a shot at answering any questions you might have before you come to join us. Have a question that isn’t answered below? Click that last button to drop us a line.
We meet on Sundays in person and online at 10am. Kids and youth ministries occur at the same time. All kids 5 years old and older will join with their adults in the sanctuary for worship from 10 to 10:30 then will be dismissed with their teachers to go down to their classes together.
Yes! Kids and youth are centered in our community. We have a self-service nursery open and available during the whole service. Our kids and youth get dismissed after worship to go to their ministries.
If it’s your first time visiting us, please park in the first spot in the circle in front of the entrance. You will find a VIP parking spot marked just for you!
We are located at 44 Adams Avenue in beautiful West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, just minutes from the border of the city of Pittsburgh and the Century III area.
Our worship services typically last for about 90 minutes. 30 minutes of singing and worship is followed by announcements and a sermon. We welcome you to linger a little longer after the service and fellowship with us in the foyer over free coffee and pastries!
Our attendees typically wear a wide variety of slacks and polos, jeans or shorts and t-shirts, blouses and skirts or dresses, fancy hats and ball caps, as well as the “Pittsburgh tuxedo” (aka Steeler’s, Pirates, or Pengins fanwear) 😄. However, please come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone. Wear what you are comfortable in, whether that’s a fancy hat, flip flops, or biker jacket! We will just be glad to have you join us!
We have made sure that our building is accessible for people of all different abilities. The main church building is all one level with no steps required in order to join for service or children’s programs, hang out in the gym, use the restroom, or grab coffee after service.
The youth room is accessible as well. It is located in a detached module located behind the main building. There is a ramp leading out to the module from the middle of the main building, with another ramp leading up to the youth module itself.
You will find the accessible bathrooms are down the main hall. We apologize the bathrooms in the foyer of the building cannot accommodate wheelchairs at this time.
Walnut Grove is an Assemblies of God church. Our beliefs and affiliations are all available in depth on our beliefs page.
Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live on Facebook or watch it back here on our YouTube channel.
If you have any other questions or simply want to talk to a pastor, we’re on the other end of this line and are eager to chat with you.
